How to Install Venetian Blinds

In learning how to install venetian blinds, here is the process you're going to see in the video.

Figure out whether you want to the shade to hang on the window casing or inside the window frame. Attach brackets.

Insert the blind headrail into the brackets. The blind in our video has a hinged front. Attach the mounting clips to the decorative valence, and then attach the valencee to the front of the headrail.

If you need to shorten the blind, take out the pull cords and cut ladders 2 inches longer than the length you want. Take off bottom rail and slide out the slats. Replace bottom rail and knot pull cords at needed length.

Installing custom blinds can be easier if you follow important steps and know some tips as well!
